What This Is
Japan Deals is a public data project for Japan travel deals. It focuses on prefectural and municipal accommodation programs: stay campaigns, resident discounts, OTA coupons, recovery support, and tourism-board promotions.
The live page focuses on fast filters, direct campaign links, and enough metadata to judge whether a deal deserves a click-through.
How It Works
The aggregator dataset is refreshed from public Japanese deal pages and normalized into one API shape. The all-47 dataset adds per-prefecture research for campaigns that are harder to discover automatically.
Confidence & Data Quality
Each normalized campaign includes source links, parsed eligibility, dates when available, discount fields, and a confidence score. Higher confidence generally means the campaign details were easier to parse or corroborate.
Always verify on the official campaign page before booking. Local campaigns can sell out, change dates, limit eligible residents, or pause when budgets are exhausted.
Refresh Schedule
The live aggregator refreshes hourly. The researched all-47 dataset is updated manually when a research pass finds new or changed campaigns.
What This Is Not
Japan Deals is not a booking engine, travel agency, official government source, or guarantee that a coupon is still available. It is a discovery layer that points you toward primary campaign pages.
